Consider how these two can complement each other during your fitness journey: Kinetix+ is a luxury boutique gym that focuses on strength training and uses AI-driven BioStrength machines, which can adjust workloads and customize your range of motion to avoid injury. Kinetix Lab, on the other hand, is a premium strength and conditioning facility where fitness enthusiasts can undergo advanced assessments and receive tailored feedback on their body and how they can optimize their training.

Together, they offer a modern, science-backed approach to fitness that elevates the traditional gym experience.

What you should know: If you’re new to the gym game, Kinetix+ and Kinetix Lab are known to be beginner-friendly, and their coaches and in-house physiotherapists are always there to guide you through the process.

We like how Kinetix+ has its own Recovery Lab that features services like the Exercise with Oxygen Therapy, ice bath therapy, infrared and red-light therapy, and infrared dry sauna. Members also get full access to Kinetix Lab branches and services, such as their Barbell Group Training, which involves fundamental movements; Core Group Training; Mobility Group Training, to help reduce the risk of injuries during physical activities; and the Conditioning Group Training, to enhance overall physical fitness.

For more information and to inquire about memberships, check out Kinetix Lab locations here and Kinetix+ at Shops at Ayala Triangle in Makati City.

The beautiful yoga studios of Vida Yoga provide a calming yet invigorating environment to build strength, flexibility, and mental clarity with their mix of hot yoga classes, vinyasa, hatha, kundalini, and ashtanga. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or a beginner, their expert instructors guide you through dynamic sessions that focus on balance, mindfulness, and inner peace.

What you should know: They have different types of packages, but we suggest you get The Discoverer (PHP800) if you just plan on taking one class; or The First Timer (PHP2,500), if you want unlimited classes for eight consecutive days. If you’re not sure which class to take, try taking any of their hot yoga classes (more details here), since it’s what the studio specializes in. They also claim it has more benefits, such as lowering glucose levels, improving sleep, and helping detox the body.

They also host a lot of interesting events and workshops, so make sure you follow them on Instagram for more info. Vida Yoga has branches in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) and Alabang, Muntinlupa. You can easily buy your packages and schedule your class online, but if you prefer to call, they also have a dedicated hotline number +63927-1473878 (Whatsapp).

3. Elorde Boxing Gym

This gym may not have a lot of bells and whistles, but it’s as legit as it gets if you want to get a real boxing or Muay Thai session in. Their trainers are tough, and some are even pro fighters, so you know that you’re learning your techniques from some of the best in the country.

What you should know: Some branches offer circuit training, so they may have other basic equipment such as weights and agility ladders available. However, we suggest that you bring your own gear like a yoga mat, boxing gloves, wraps, towels, and a water bottle.

Sessions start at PHP400 for boxing and PHP500 for Muay Thai for non-members, so it’s a great option if you’re on a budget. They also offer home service training by request (actor Piolo Pascual has been known to train with Elorde this way, see photo above), which is a more convenient option if you don’t have a car to get around.

According to their Instagram page, @elordegym, they have gyms located in areas like Gilmore and Tandang Sora in QC, Sucat in Paranaque, Bulacan, Davao, and even NAIA Road. You can call +63922-8307786 to find a gym or trainer near you, or send them a message via Instagram.

When Saddle Row first started in 2015, they were one of the pioneers of creating tailor-fit indoor workouts for cycling and rowing. Their classes are fun and energetic, and they pride themselves in having built a reputation for offering a consistently safe and smart fitness experience.

They’re conveniently located at the third level of Power Plant Mall in Rockwell Center, Makati, so you can squeeze in a workout after doing some shopping or a meet-up with friends.

What you should know: Aside from their indoor rowing and cycling classes, they also offer Realign classes—a more holistic approach to fitness through a mix of classes that use different movements, machines, and equipment (think yoga, cardio with a mix of strength with weights, and ropes).

If you want to book a class, just go to their website, purchase your preferred package, and then reserve your slot online. We suggest getting their first-time package: PHP1,500 for five in-studio classes (prices may change, so check online for the latest). You may also call them via +63917-1787625.

5. Options Studio

Pilates is gaining popularity on social media for a good reason: Aside from strengthening your core, it can help you improve your posture, feel less tightness around your hips, and stretch your muscles. Finding a good class can make all the difference if you’re tense from the long-haul flights and all the traveling, so head here if you’re looking for a trusted studio with classical instructors who receive continuous training and mentoring.

What you should know: All classes are by appointment only, so we suggest booking 2-3 days ahead to make sure that they can accommodate your schedule. Each session lasts 55 minutes. They also have shower rooms available at their studios (just remember to bring your own towel and toiletries). They offer 1:1 private online classes, which start at PHP1,000 per session if you don’t want to head to the studio.

They have studios in Rockwell, Makati, BGC, Greenhills (San Juan), Timog (QC), Alabang, and Nuvali (Laguna). The best way to contact them is via Instagram or click on this link to book your online session.

6. Kerry Sports Manila

This 8,000 square-meter luxury gym is the largest indoor lifestyle and leisure club at the heart of BGC. It’s conveniently located at the 6/F of Shangri-La The Fort and is equipped with a 24-hour gym, squash court, tennis court, outdoor swimming pool, and NBA-grade basketball court, as well as studios for yoga, spinning, and dance classes.

To access the gym, you have to be a guest at the hotel or acquire a membership. There’s a two-month trial rate at PHP28,000, so if you’re planning on staying in Metro Manila for a long vacay and want to level-up your gym game, this is a great option.

7. Anytime Fitness

True to its name, Anytime Fitness offers gymgoers 24-hour access—totally perfect for those who have a busy schedule or suddenly have free time (or jetlag, perhaps). They have over 150 branches all over the Philippines, from various areas in Metro Manila to Davao, so you’re sure to find one near you.

What you should know: Each branch may offer different types of group classes (such as yoga or dance), and they also have different types of equipment available for strength training, functional training, and cardio.

If you’re looking for something in particular, like stair climbers or TRX, call ahead to make sure it’s available or click on the address of the branch you want to visit to check out a list of their amenities. Visit anytimefitness.ph for more info or click here to find a branch near you. KUBO tip: If you’re not a member, you can also sign up for a free Day Pass via their website.

8. Gold’s Gym

Bodybuilding superstars such as Arnold Schwarzenegger and Lou Ferrigno worked out at the original Gold’s Gym, so if your priority is to continue bulking up and building muscle while in the Philippines, this is the place for you. They’re known for being one of the few gyms that offer Intense Body Building classes as part of their legacy, together with Body Pump and CrossFit classes.

What you should know: They have 16 branches all over the Philippines and you can view all their different classes and schedules online. You have access to all branches as a member, so it’ll be easy to stick to your workout goals if you plan on traveling around the country.

Membership deals are at PHP1,800 for one month of unlimited visits as of this writing, which makes it quite a deal if you’re staying in town for a couple of weeks. Visit their website and Facebook page to learn more.
