We have great news for Filipinos based in Canada and the United States: Rivermaya is taking their reunion concert to US & Canada in 2024!
The groundbreaking reunion show marked the return of the original members of the band after over 24 years, and the overwhelming positive response has inspired them to extend their tour to their international fans. This special tour is their way of expressing gratitude to their dedicated Filipino supporters—a good number of whom have already moved to Canada and the US—from the time they were formed in 1994 up to the present, eagerly awaiting their return.
Rivermaya: The Reunion US & Canada Tour 2024 will feature the iconic original quartet lineup that features original vocalist Bamboo Mañalac, drummer Mark Escueta, bassist Nathan Azarcon, and chief songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Rico Blanco. This reunion brings together the celebrated members for a tour that promises to rekindle the magic of their dynamic performances and classic, well-loved hits that include “Ulan,” ”Awit ng Kabataan,” “214,” Kisapmata,” “Himala,” “Hinahanap-hanap Kita,” “Elesi,” and “Kung Ayaw Mo, Huwag Mo,” among many others.
The tour is set to kick off in Vancouver, Canada, with an opening performance on September 8, 2024, Sunday, at the renowned PNE Coliseum (Pacific Coliseum). Fans in Vancouver will be the first to experience the band’s epic return to the stage, setting the tone for an unforgettable tour under the production of Charles Victor Entertainment, in cooperation with Live Nation Philippines, Tiana Entertainment, and TsikenStarr Production.
Following the Vancouver show, Rivermaya will head to New York City for a performance at the world-famous Theater at Madison Square Garden on September 21, 2024. Known for its legendary status, Madison Square Garden is the perfect venue for an iconic OPM show that promises to be the highlight of the tour.
The tour will then make its way to Los Angeles, where Rivermaya will take the stage at the historic Greek Theater on October 4, 2024. Check out the poster below for the complete list of dates and venues.
