Are you dreaming of traveling to the beautiful surfing, dining, and beach destination that is Siargao on your next visit to the Philippines? Get a head start on planning when you attend Fiesta in America in New Jersey, USA on August 17-18, 2024.
Siargao Island in the province of Surigao del Norte is Fiesta in America’s Destination Partner for the 27th edition of the Filipino expo this Aug. 17-18 at American Dream, located in East Rutherford, New Jersey. American Dream is the second largest multi-commercial, recreational, and family entertainment complex in the US.
Siargao—a dream destination for surfers, kite surfers, anglers, and lovers of nature, beaches, and delicious food finds—was voted the Best Island in Asia by Condé Nast Traveler in 2019.
But that’s not the only beautiful Philippine destination you can learn more about at Fiesta in America. Apart from Siargao in Surigao del Norte, a number of other Philippine local government units (LGUs) are participating in this year’s Fiesta in America, notably Angeles City, Mati in Davao Oriental, and Zamboanga City, according to Fiesta in America Vice President for International Sales Susan del Mundo.
“Their presence shall allow attendees the opportunity to explore breathtaking vacation or retirement destinations across the Philippines,” says Ms. del Mundo.
Representatives of these LGUs will showcase the beauty of their cities and islands in New Jersey, along with insights on investment opportunities in these regions. Notably, the city government of Siargao partnered with Siargao Bleu Resort & Spa to highlight their offerings.
As in past editions, Fiesta in America is set to captivate audiences with its business and cultural expo at American Dream. This landmark event in New Jersey promises an immersive experience into Filipino culture, business opportunities, and tourism, attracting over 10,000 Filipino Americans and an additional 60,000 visitors in overall foot traffic.
“Fiesta in America stands out as the only Filipino event in the U.S. that hosts a two-day business and cultural expo. Our primary focus is to empower Filipino businesses to thrive and generate revenue from our vibrant community of attendees,” says Fernando Mendez, CEO and President of Fiesta in America.
Sponsors and exhibitors can capitalize on two full days of exhibition, doubling their sales potential at American Dream. Find out which brands you can look forward to seeing at this event here. KUBO will be there—drop by our booth, we can’t wait to meet you!
Fiesta in America was founded in 1996 by Fernando Mendez and his late wife, Mila, who passed in 2012.
