While Filipinos are known for cooking up tasty dishes like adobo, kare-kare, and bulalo, it can be argued that our cuisine may not be among the healthiest in the world. That said, more and more Filipinos are saying no (or at least, not right now) to such indulgent dishes and yes to whole and healthy food. This shift toward more mindful eating practices has led to a rising demand for locally-sourced organic produce in the Philippines, especially as local celebrities train the spotlight on healthy living.
It’s no longer uncommon to scroll through Pinoy celebrities’ social media accounts for healthy recipes and workout routines, and many influencers have gained a following precisely for this kind of content. As part of KUBO’s series of wellness specials this month, here are 12 Pinoy wellness influencers you can follow to maintain a healthy lifestyle even while you’re visiting the motherland.
1. Camille Prats – @camilleprats
Former child star Camille Prats has four pillars of content for her Instagram account: faith, family, fitness, and food. She regularly posts videos that show her working out with husband VJ Yambao, proving to her 2.7M followers that it’s easier to stick to a workout routine—or bounce back from a period of laziness or rest and recovery from injury—when you have someone to keep you accountable and cheer you on. It’s always better together!
Camille also has a YouTube channel where she posts cooking videos in a segment she calls “Cam Cook With Me.” Here, she catches up with fellow celebrities as they cook together, serving up dishes like Baked Sushi Cups and Easy Oatmeal Crepes, and even drinks like Healthy Green Smoothie and Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie.
2. Andi Eigenmann – @andieigengirl
Ever since she made Siargao island her home base where she raises her children, Andi Eigenmann has been an advocate of what she calls “conscious living.” Her Instagram account gives her 4M followers a glimpse into her simple island life. It’s also filled with surfing videos, which isn’t surprising, as Siargao is considered the Surfing Capital of the Philippines.
Her Instagram highlights also show past stories on her efforts toward leading a sustainable lifestyle, making wholesome meals, and building holistic habits. At 33, Andi is living her healthiest, fittest life yet, proving it’s never too late to start leading a healthy lifestyle.
But the actress also shows that it’s never too early to start either, as her YouTube channel Happy Islanders has videos of her kids skateboarding, surfing, and making meals from freshly harvested seafood and fruits. It’s easier to lead a healthy lifestyle when you do it as a family.

While her Instagram account shows how she has embraced motherhood, Solenn Heussaff has maintained a YouTube channel with 1.03M subscribers where she documents her ongoing commitment to staying fit and eating healthy. While his old Instagram highlights reveal that Piolo stays fit by playing badminton, running, and biking, one highlight caught our interest: Sweats, a series of Instagram Stories where the actor removes his shirt to wring the sweat off it.
